Biography
Julie’s lifelong dedication to music is apparent in her achievements as organist, pianist, composer and teacher.
Organ
The organ, which has fascinated Julie since childhood, is now her principal performance instrument. She is currently Organist at St Augustine’s Abbey, Chilworth, near Guildford.
Piano
Julie’s first instrument (and her first love), the piano was the main focus of her study at Trinity College of Music.
Composition
Composition has always been an essential part of Julie’s musical life. It is as a composer that, as well as being awarded several prizes, she has gained the highest level of qualification.
Teaching
Julie has taught both piano and organ from early adulthood. She is very much motivated by the desire to pass on her love of music to others.
